Transport Assessment and Residential Travel Plan
Project: Residential Development in Desborough, Northamptonshire
‘ttc’ were appointed to provide the Transport Assessment and Residential Travel Plan to accompany an Outline Planning Application for a proposed residential development of 300 units on land to the south of Desborough, Northamptonshire.
As part of the Transport Assessment, 'ttc' undertook a detailed modelling capacity assessment of the surrounding local highway network to determine the vehicle impact of the proposed development. As a result of the assessment a package of mitigation measures were identified for Highway Improvements works along with detailed design of the proposed new access points into the proposed development. This led to the local highway authority recommending the proposed development for approval at planning committee.
