UK based Transport Planning Consultants, ‘ttc’ contributed to the successful award of planning permission for a mixed use residential development at the site of the Old Police Station in West Drayton, London.
Appointed as a part of a wider project team, ‘ttc’ delivered a detailed transport assessment, travel plan and robust access design to accompany the planning application which resulted in Planning Permission being granted.
Due for completion in Spring 2018, the Old Police Station is an impressive collection of 53 homes offering fantastic transport links via the soon to be Cross-rail station at West Drayton and the M25 and M4 corridor.
As an experienced transport planning consultancy, ttc took a direct role in delivering a detailed transport assessment, travel plan and robust access design, which formed part of the development planning application.

Nimbus Engineering who specialise in Civil and Environmental engineering were a key part of the project team. Sadia Luckett, Director, Nimbus Engineering, commented, “This project allowed us to provide innovative solutions in order to ensure the client received a cost-effective design solution, which could also be agreed with the Local Planning Authority, in order to received planning permission and discharge the relevant planning conditions. Working together the project team developed and submitted a sound planning application, which led to the successful award of planning permission for the London site, due for occupation in Summer 2018.
